Birchwood Resort is located in Northern Minnesota on the shores of beautiful Lake Kabetogama in

Voyageurs National Park.  

We are just off U.S. Highway 53  - 80 miles north of Virginia, MN and 144 miles north of Duluth, MN, and 28 miles south of International Falls, MN.

We are 6.5 miles EAST from The Gateway Store on HWY 53 and Salmi Road, making a left at Gamma Road.

Follow US 53 to mile marker 139, then turn north on County Rd 122 (Gateway General Store and a large Walleye statue are located at the corner).

Drive 2.5 miles on County Rd 122 then take a left turn, County Rd 122 also makes the turn.  This is Gamma Rd. 

Continue 4 miles and Birchwood Resort is on your right. 

 

There are several curves on Gamma Rd but do not take any turns.  The road turns to gravel a couple hundred yards before you get to Birchwood Resort.
